Strategist and Futurist Dr. Lance Wallnau speaks about the graduations in the faith in his video:
He presents his insights using two models. The first model helps us attain fulfillment of our godly purpose and plan. He begins by talking about the Sovereign Beginning (SB) God has placed you in—circumstances that provide the right soil for your heart to be drawn towards God. Then comes the Spiritual Formation stage (SF) where believers are taken into a spiritual experience after they are saved. Once saved, God teaches them the principles in the word of God so that they can then be taken into the next stage of Gift Development (GD). Coach Lance talks about how those who are endowed with spiritual gifts are put through a stage of attaining Spiritual Maturity (SM). This is when 88% of the people drop off. They find it difficult to sustain the journey with God when they enter the spiritual maturity stage because this phase can sometimes be long drawn with several types of hardships and difficulties they have to face for example having to train difficult children or solve a business problem or take care of aged parents and so on which can be considered as testing for maturity and growth. This stage is required to develop your gifts to perfection so that God can then use them to build convergence into your life.
Convergence is the phase when all our gifts and talents and abilities and anointing come together to provide solutions to problems people are facing. The problems are real and God wants you to use all your spiritual training to solve problems that people are facing. Oftentimes we are demotivated or we lose our passion or we are depressed because we don’t see results. We also don’t understand the word of God which are all factors that contribute to feeling lost at sea like a rudderless ship. When we are able to understand the Word of God and have a direction for our lives, we will not be distracted or demotivated or lose focus. This is the aim of our humble initiative—that people may understand the things of God so they are better oriented at achieving and fulfilling their mission and destiny in Christ. Our keen desire is to enable understanding of key principles and models that God has given us in the word and decode scripture to enable it to be instantly applied into our lives.
