Yet don’t feel equipped. You think, “I am not an expert. I can’t write a book because I don’t have anything to write about. I can’t communicate anything meaningful through written words. It is too hard. I will just be going round in circles and never finish my book.” Well, all these reasons are valid. But I want to point you in a new direction today. From now, you must meditate on what we will discuss here.

Everything You Need To Write About Has Already Been Given To You
- “I am not an expert or who will read my book”
All the experiences in your life have prepared you for this moment. You have been chosen to bring a certain part of the puzzle to the hungry masses. You never know who is going to read your book. Your work is only to be faithful to what God has given you and make your revelation known. God the Holy Spirit will bring the people to the book. He will be the force working behind your offering of sacrifice. The important step is to obey. For the Bible says, “To obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.” Obedience is what gets you started. Motivation is what keeps you going. So start writing and God will lead you. Make it a point to wait each day in God’s presence until you hear Him and write down what you hear. As you do this regularly, you will develop a habit. Important point to note is that you do it cheerfully and with a grateful heart. And soon the book will be finished — hurray! Then proudly sign it with your name.
- “I can’t write a book because I don’t have anything to write about.”
It is common to imagine that you are not a deep person with great knowledge or experiences worth writing about. But all of us have been through some deep experiences as a person, refined and sanctified in the cauldron of God’s purifying fire. He has taught you many lessons through the life experiences you had and so you must use those insights from your life to write your book. A book only needs to meet two conditions to be successful: are you solving a specific problem for your specific audience? If yes, then you have a good book. As you gather insights for your book, you will be given even more insight. “For to him who has, more will be given.” Revelation will flood into your spirit as the Holy Spirit illumines God’s wisdom unto you. My observation has been that when I write a book, I am always full of the Spirit. The Glory of God is made available to me so that the work of the Lord can go on unhindered. I feel so refreshed and comforted and this is the reason the Holy Spirit can flow easily.
- “I can’t communicate anything meaningful through written words or I don’t have a gift of writing.”
Jesus explained the principle of using (and developing) the talents we have been given in “the parable of the talents” (Matthew 25:14-30). The first two stewards invest their talents and double what they are given. The owner congratulates them: “Well done good and faithful servant.” To esteem your gift is the first step to stewarding it well. A steward is someone who manages property or other affairs for someone else. God’s very first command to Adam was to be fruitful and increase; fill the earth and subdue it. So as kingdom stewards, we don’t just manage kingdom assets — we multiply them.
The third servant, who does nothing but hide the talents in a hole in the ground and give it back to the owner as it is when he returns is upbraided: “You wicked and slothful servant”. Imagine being called wicked and slothful for not stewarding our gifts well! Then the owner took away what was given to the bad steward and had him thrown out.
From this parable, we are given to understand that a good steward is:
- Obedient
- Hardworking
- Willing to take reasonable risks

- “It is too hard.”
God will use your work to change the world as long as you take the courage to get out of your comfort zone and serve as the Lord wills. All you need is to pray and ask God for guidance and inspiration. Your unique audience is waiting to hear your voice. Jesus is waiting on you to write down the vision and make it plain. A writing partner will impart the right words and expressions that your book needs. As a writer of many Christian books, I can assist you (as my schedule permits) to write your book. My email is hello@customchristianbooks.com
One of my clients who I wrote a book for mentioned in his email to me: “God told me to write this book and I wrestled with that idea because I was never good at writing as much as I was at speaking. I need a writing partner to express my thoughts easily and effectively. I want to write a book as a way to send my ideas into the future long after I am gone.”
- “I will just be going round in circles and never finish my book.”
If your house is on fire and you are not a firefighter, will you just stand around and wait for the fire personnel to arrive? If you know how to fill some buckets with water, you can well douse the fire on your own and not wait till it spreads and becomes more difficult to tackle. The same principle applies to our function of writing a book. If we just wait around, Satan will still be going about doing his work of killing, stealing and destroying our people. If we wait till we develop enough expertise, it will be too late and we will not have an opportunity to tell people about our Lord.
Fulfill The Great Commission
The time is nearer now
Pastor Kent Christmas prophesied in June 2022 that this last move of God will end in the rapture of the saints. The signs are obvious. God is preparing His bride for the rapture. The remnant is the BRIDE of Christ. The Anti-Christ may appear anytime now and the tribulation will start with no turning back.
Now is the time to feed your Spirit by writing and serving the Body of Christ. You are transferring the manna of heaven to a format that the hungry lambs can consume. Thus you fulfill the commandment to feed the lambs.
THE LORD’S PROMISE TO YOU
“I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name. … Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test those who live on the earth.” – Rev 2 : 8b,10
