Most of the time, we undervalue what God is doing in our lives — we discount the specific insights/special knowledge/pellets of wisdom that we receive on kingdom orientation, kingdom experience, character of Christ. fellowship insights, clarity of concepts, understanding of truths, development of gifts, manifestation of fruit, strategy of warfare, importance of the armor of God,  and so on thinking that they are not useful to anyone else.

Or we think that others already know what we know.  However this is not necessarily true. Each person responds to God’s work in their lives differently. Not all have faith.  Some people are richly endowed with faith whereas many are assailed by doubt.  Some people have gifts of faith by which they are able to believe for the impossible.  Some people have great memory for scripture because of which they are able to be constantly reminded of the right things to do. The Holy Spirit brings all scripture to our memory according to our need. Yet He does require that we read the bible constantly and try to remember as much of what we read as possible.

Some people are more sensitive and perceptive of God’s presence, some are seers, some are translators, some love to spread the Gospel of  the Lord, some love to teach,  some have great experiences in the Lord, some see angels and discern spirits… all have some gift or the other but because God has chosen to give us these gifts, we think that others also have the same gifts that we have. We do not realize that we have been given the gifts for a purpose. They have not been given only for our needs. We have a responsibility to help the body of Christ with the gifts that we have been given.

In the Bible we read in Joshua 10 how Joshua was not exactly fighting his own battle when he decided to help the Gibeonites fight against the five kings of the Amorites who had joined forces. This battle was too strong for them but the Lord assured Joshua that He had given all the enemies into his hands. Not one could withstand him. The Lord broke in with hailstones from heaven that destroyed the enemies in large numbers. Joshua even commanded the sun to stop and God heeded the voice of a man.

"O sun, stand still over Gibeon, O moon, over the Valley of Aijalon." So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, till the nation avenged itself on its enemies, as it is written in the Book of Jashar. - Joshua 10:13

The Lord stopped time for the whole day until the war was won. Why did this happen? Why did God do this for Joshua even when he was not fighting his own battle?

This shows us the importance of involving ourselves in other’s battles. It is only when we take onus for the spiritual growth of the rest of the body of Christ that we will actually see the fullness of God’s Glory manifest. God will reveal that He can do the impossible only in a situation that involves His corporate body.

All the miracles that we see in the life of Moses were meant for the corporate body of Christ. They were meant for the body as a whole — the glory of God was revealed first in a burning bush and then became the ten plagues and culminated in the pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night. Manna came down from heaven to feed the six million Israelites. God gave them all quail for a whole month! They saw the Red Sea being lifted up on both sides and the waters congeal as a WALL on both sides allowing the Israelites to pass on dry land but drowning the Egyptians who tried to pass the same way.

The mightiest miracles of God are wrought in the context of the edification of the entire body of Christ. We see the mighty miracles of bread being multiplied and healing take place in a corporate body where many are gathered,

So the gifts of God that have been given to us are not meant only for our personal use but for the corporate body of Christ. As we share freely the things that we have been given, we will receive even more glory into our lives.

If you have a gift to share the word of god, start a blog writing about all your experiences in the Lord. Start a podcast that reveals all your experiences that the Lord is working in your life or write a book about your experiences in the Lord. As you share insights and understanding from the Word of God, you feed your own spirit and build yourself up in the Most Holy Faith.

The generous man will be prosperous, And he who waters will himself be watered. - Proverbs 11:25

God will honor your commitment to his body. He will bless you even more because you have put your heart, your soul and your passion to doing what matters the most to Him. You can be assured of eternal rewards  because God is  a great rewarder of those who diligently seek him. He will even bless you for giving a glass of cold water to someone who is thirsty.

The reward is being given because you have satisfied someone’s thirst. When we extend this logic, we can clearly see that God is very thrilled when we share our insights with others who are not able to have the same insights as we are. We must hold ourselves accountable to share the living waters with those who are thirsty and help their thirst to be satisfied. God will reward us for sharing living waters with those who are in need.

The living waters are symbolic of the Holy Spirit. God said that He will give the Holy Spirit as the best gift to anyone who asks for it. God wants us to have the fullness of His Holy Spirit. The spirit gives life and this life is what we desire. When we have the life of God in us, everything we do will prosper and we will bear fruit in every season.  Our lives will be evergreen.

This is the testimony that we want to give to everyone who comes in contact with us.  We want them to see our fruit and desire to share in it. We want them also to bear fruit for the kingdom so that others may be drawn to their fruit and desire also to partake of the kingdom’s benefits. This is how the kingdom of God is built up on earth. It all starts with you voicing your  gifts of utterance, revelation and power that God has given you for the corporate Church.

As you give yourself to the work of the Lord, the Lord will bless your efforts and supply you with all the good things that you desire for your life.

Give and it shall be given unto you - Luke 6:38.

This rule applies in the case of the kingdom of God even more than earthly things because the kingdom is of highest priority to God the king and he desires that His kingdom shall come in all its power and glory. We must do our part for the kingdom to come soon so that the curse on the world will be broken and all creation shall be restored to God. The goodness and the joy of the Lord shall cause our hearts to rejoice forever.
