Prayer is a conversation between two intelligent people. One person speaks and the other listens. Then the other person offers valuable suggestions and insight into the conversation. This builds up to the place where both parties are actively involved in edifying each other. This is what I call prayer.
Prayer can happen all throughout the day. You can open up a conversation with anyone at any time. There does not have to be any restriction with regard to place or ambience. If someone is on your heart more frequently, it is because you love them. You are always thinking about them. You want to have a little tête-à-tête with the one you love. You want to chat with your beloved. Your heart longs for them and you enjoy conversing with them. They are very very intelligent and extremely sweet people. You enjoy their company because they never speak ill of others or make you look small or insignificant but in fact they make you look larger than yourself and of greatest significance that no man can ever imagine.
They make you feel so good about yourself that you constantly want to derive energy and enthusiasm from being in their company. You feel so drawn towards the majesty and the grandeur of their greatness that you are constantly imagining them in the throne of your heart and feeling their emotions and experiencing their heart. You want to draw so close to the precious one that you love—no matter how occupied you may be in the affairs of your life, your heart is constantly being united with the one you love.
The beauty of prayer is that your time with them gives meaning and purpose to everything you do. They have such an overarching role to play in your life that they can determine exactly what you should be doing to optimize your life. They are the truly benevolent leaders in your life whom you look up to for advice and are so keen to do as they say because you have experienced their love and have seen that everything that they have done for you has been extremely good for you. You value them because of their wisdom and their great understanding of you and your life. So you cannot but constantly be in their company and languish after their sweet love and affection for you. You enjoy the conversation thoroughly each time because they have wonderful character and are so glad to bless you every time you meet them.
Prayer is an overarching desire to be with the beloved and to share your deepest thoughts and ideas with them before you ever take them up because you will get direction and understanding about it and if there are any areas where you will face obstacles, they will equip you and prepare you to overcome all the obstacles that you will face.
Their guidance is extraordinary and extremely apt for your life and situation. They specialize in their competency to guide you because they have a perfect understanding of your abilities and therefore will not misguide you. You can rest assured that if you have been in communion with the most high God, you are set in the right direction and you have the greatest grace to achieve and accomplish every dream that He has given you. You are a Victor because of him. You are being built for great conquests. You will not be deterred, you will not be sidetracked but you will gain every moment as you sit on revelation and understanding of what the Lord is speaking to you. You gain greatly because your coach is a great help to you and He will help you in every hurdle you face till you are mature and complete, not lacking anything. Amen.
